What We Actually Do
We work on garage doors and the hardware that runs them: torsion and extension springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges, and openers. That covers the double-door setups common in homes built from the late 1970s through the early 2000s, which is most of what's out there across this service area. A lot of those doors are original to the house, meaning the springs and drums are decades past their rated cycle count and the panels have never been swapped.
We don't do new home construction installs as a general contractor would, and we don't do fencing, gates, or general carpentry - just the door and the equipment attached to it. If your opener is wired into a smart-home system beyond the door itself, we can service the opener hardware but we're not rewiring your house.
A quote over the phone can tell you a ballpark for a spring replacement or a common panel repair. It can't tell you the exact number until someone has measured your track width, checked your spring wind, and looked at whether your opener's logic board is original or already replaced. Steel gauge, insulation, and window inserts all move the number too.

What Happens After You Call

That tells us whether it's a same-visit spring job, a track alignment, or something that needs a part ordered first.
We give you a window for arrival, not an exact minute - traffic and the length of the prior job both move that. Once we're at the door, we look at the springs, cables, tracks, rollers, and the opener before quoting the final price. A phone estimate for a broken spring can be close, but if we open the door and find a bent track or a cracked panel behind it, that's a separate quote before we touch it, not an added charge you find out about after.
Who Turns Up
We don't publish a headcount or a fleet size, and we're not going to invent one. What you can count on is that whoever comes to your door is there to work on the door - not to sell you a whole-house financing package or push a replacement you don't need. If a spring repair will get you another several years out of the door, we'll say that. If the door is old enough and the track damage is bad enough that repair costs more than it's worth compared to a new door, we'll say that too.
We're based at 215 S Monroe St in Tallahassee. That's where the trucks start the day, not a marketing address. One honest limit: if a part isn't something we carry on the truck, there's a lead time to order it, and we'll tell you that number when we know it rather than promise same-day on something we don't have in hand.
